The Greek Medical Legacy

Greek Medicine is a library devoted to the medical literature of Greece, from the time of Hippocrates (460 - between 375 and 351 B.C.) to Galen (A.D. 129 - 216 [?]).

For each of the works of ancient Greek physicians arrived to us, Greek Medicine offers in open access a link to the currently available digital versions of printed editions.

This collection will be complemented with other works, published or transcribed from manuscripts. Also, it will be expanded with the works of Byzantine physicians. All these works will be available through the digital collection of the Institute for the Preservation of Medical Traditions.
